  • Abstract
    This paper investigated the structure and content of job insecurity, as well as the antecedents on it and inner mechanism. Using a sample of 468 manufacturing employees from Suzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Xi´an and other cities in China, we found: The construct of job insecurity is consisted of three factors, including quantitative job insecurity, salary promotion insecurity and interpersonal insecurity. On some dimensions of job insecurity, there are significant differences in gender, age educational level, etc. The “cooperation and results-oriented”, one dimension of Person-Organization Fit, had direct negative effect on quantitative job insecurity; The “contribution”, one dimension of Leader-Member Exchange, has played a moderating role between them. Some suggestions were provided behind.
