Abstract :
Based on the study of the latest research results of computer vision theory and human visual perception, we put forward the principles of the AV-FMS(active vision and fixational micro scan) based computer vision system. The system consists of active vision and fixational micro scan subsystems. The design of active vision subsystem is based on the active vision theory, it is mainly responsible for extracting features of the rough characteristics of the scene. We put forward the fixational micro scan subsystem based on the fixational eye movement characteristics of human visual perception to attempt to solve the problems of how to process during fixation period in active vision theory, and it is mainly responsible for extracting details of specified regional landscape contours and features. The system aims to solve the problems of computer vision system in speed and accuracy.
