Abstract :
From the perspective of positive psychology, this study examines the relationship between emotional labor and job engagement. Results of the 258 sample survey showed emotional labor has a certain prediction on job engagement: the surface acting has a negative correlation with dedication, deep acting has a positive correlation with dedication, and emotional strategy has a positive correlation with all the three dimensions of job engagement (vigor, dedication, absorption). Job requirement works as a moderator in the relations between emotional strategy and vigor, and the relations between emotional strategy and absorption.
