Abstract
The hot commercial community networks wipe the Internet, and the prospect of mobile Internet attracts the Internet community services into the mobile filed. And the availability of user-location information is facilitating the development of new personalized, location-based applications. However, as of today, most of these applications have its protocols and cannot intercommunicate, makes it inconvenient to use. This article first study the current communities architectures and then gives a modular and general architecture of location based mobile community that supports to communicate between different mobile communities that use the general protocols. It also describes the general key technologies used in this architecture such as presence, SUPL, and Mashup.
