Abstract :
In this paper we present the results of a case study for an interactive e-learning platform called hyper interactive presenter (HIP). HIP is an e-learning platform that provides synchronized, structured and hyperlinked pedagogical content thru audio/video, power point presentation, wiki pages/documents, and frequently asked questions. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of HIP as a learning platform based on user experience and their learning preferences. The aim is to further enhance HIP capabilities to deliver learning material adapted to user´ learning styles. This study is based on VARK learning style model. VARK (VIsual, Aural, Read/Write, and kinesthetic) is one of the most popular learning model designed to help learners know their individual learning preferences. The results of this study confirm the educational benefit of HIP as a learning platform.
