Abstract :
The author built up a hierarchical parallel genetic compound form algorithm (H-P-G-C) which was develop based on delicate variables´ segments, parallel algorithm, genetic algorithm (GA) and compound form algorithm. An optimizing model of navigation performances and structural properties for inland ships was constructed. This composite algorithm is programmed by VC++, it has a friendly graphical user interface. Quantities of computation results of comparison between different solving methods show that this composite algorithm has a solid foundation for form optimization and design evaluation of inland ships.
