Abstract :
The object investigated in this paper is the induction motor driving system on FAW hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). The structure of entire car system is presented, and its operating mode is analyzed. Also the running states of induction motor system are analyzed with the entire car system in different operating mode. And we manufacture a prototype motor whose indexes are rated power: 40 kW; peak power 80 kW; rated speed 3600 rpm; maximum speed: 6000 rpm. The study in this paper focus on the motor´s characteristic in different running state. And experiments for the induction motor system have been carried out according to the entire car´s different operating modes. The experimental results shows that the induction motor driving system developed can fully satisfy the entire car´s requirements with high performance
