Abstract
With the popularity of RIA applications, the Flash/Flex is relied on more and larger by developers. Flash Server´s research becomes very important. This article describes a very good open source Red5 Flash server technology architecture, combined with the source code of the Red5 basic principles and structure of the system, and gives a example of video chat on web page, for Flash/Flex applications, server-side developers to provide a valuable reference.
