Abstract :
The novelty presented by this paper resides in the modularization of the design of home automation systems. This improvement allows for a more easily implemented and flexible resulting system. The total cost of the system is thus reduced. The proposed automation system is based around a core PC with independent peripherals, which in turn are able to work autonomously, thus providing a more secure and redundant system.
