Abstract :
Cell-based biosensors provide a means to detect physiological responses in cells. The electrode-to-cell interface is a critical factor in monitoring these responses. Initial biochamber results are presented which include attachment studies using COS-7 cells on indium tin oxide (ITO) and SiO2 surfaces and capacitance studies implementing ITO electrodes to monitor the biochamber´s environment.
