Abstract :
In order to select the new type electrostatic sprayer for tea pest control. The performance of different sprayers were compared and the deposition of droplets in tea plants and the losses on the ground were determined. Results indicated that, the spray liquid discharge from the nozzle of electrostatic sprayer 3WBJ-16DZ that operated at 0.5Mpa was 1290mL/min, followed by the electric sprayer WS-18D, the spray liquid discharge from the nozzle of it that operated at 0.25Mpa was 1050mL/min. The spray liquid discharge from the nozzle of four sprayers were compared: 3WBJ-16DZ>; WS-18D>; 3WBS-15>; 3WBJ-15D. The deposition of droplets at different heights and different distances from the worker were more highly by using the electric sprayer 3WBJ-16DZ. The deposition of droplets was about 2-3 times than the other three sprayers in different heights and different distances. Field experiment showed that the electrostatic sprayer 3WBJ-16DZ was with the characteristics of the strong adhesion rate and the low liquid application rate. This sprayer was quite feasible to use in the tea plants. It provided an alternative to tea industry, not only from environmental but also from economic reasons.
