Abstract :
A Petri net controller, previously proposed by the authors is fabricated by one-chip VLSI. It is organized by a microprocessor and memory for control programs. The Petri net controller will not be too large, or too complex. PNPL (Petri net parallel programming language), which is a programming language for the Petri net controller is developed. A simulation for a society of ants by PNPL, is described, and it is shown that PNPL can be a design tool for micromachines
