Abstract :
An approach of conceptual representation of production systems in flexible manufacturing assembly of a family of products is presented. The tool used for modeling is object oriented Petri net (OPN) for which the base definitions and the graphical formalism are given. An example illustrating an application of flexible manufacturing systems assembly is presented
