Abstract :
This paper presents the analysis, design and implementation of a liquid level nonlinear control for a tank system coupled in series. The control action is obtained from the mathematical model of the system applying concepts and tools of the indirect method of Lyapunov, the energy function of the system is defined, including, the dynamics and delays of the system and actuators. The system consists of two tanks connected in series, where the output flow of the former is the input of the second. The tank liquid level is monitored by ultrasonic sensors. The outflow of the tanks is controlled by proportional valves. The results are presented by Simulik®.
