Abstract :
One of the major factors of performance degradation in OFDM transmission is influence of additive impulsive noise. Because of wide band property of impulsive noise, it affects the symbols transmitted on many sub-carriers and bit error rate characteristic severely degrades. In this paper, an iterative scheme that reduces influence of impulsive noise by generating a replica signal of impulsive noise and reducing it from the received signal is proposed. As the result of computer simulation, good performance was confirmed.
