Abstract :
Several transmitter architectures for wireless systems are discussed, including the two-step architecture, direct-conversion, offset modulator and modulation loop. Examples of architectures for TDMA/CDMA systems are given. Finally, a design case for GSM/DCS/PCS application is shown using 0.6 μm BiCMOS technology.
