Abstract :
The analysis of electromagnetic (EM) absorption and scattering properties of a plane multilayered structure representing a model of the human head is investigated in this paper. Two models of the human head were considered. We have evaluated the EM absorption in the human head at 900 MHz and 1.8 GHz. Results clarifying the effect of aging-related variations of the normal human head on the induced specific absorption rate (SAR).
