Abstract :
In view of the narrowband carrier communication widely used in the automatic meter reading system in low voltage power line of our country at present, this paper proposed the automatic meter reading system´s design scheme based on the power line broadband carrier, overcame the narrowband carrier communication bandwidth to be excessively narrow, the speed to be excessively low, real time badly and so on questions. This paper expounds the broadband carrier meter reading system overall design scheme which was introduced in detail, and then meter reading system in each part of the internal structure and management center software specific functions, and according the characteristics of low voltage power line, we raise a relay routing algorithm which is suitable for automatic reading meter system, the relay routing algorithm effectively solves some questions of current automatic meter reading system, such as, low success rate of meter reading, long time of meter reading and so on. The operating experience and practice indicated: the meter reading system has the merits, such as, transmission speed is quick, the reliability is high, real time is strong and the operating cost is low.
