Abstract :
The FDTD method is applied to the full-wave analysis of rectangular waveguides loaded with E-plane or H-plane ferrite slabs with transverse magnetization. The treatment of the ferrite material is based on the equation of motion using the Gilbertpsilas approximation of the damping term. A comparison between the accuracy of two discretization approaches is done through numerical examples.
