Abstract :
This paper considers the establishment of a new 2D discrete model which originate from the ultrasound theoretical model, comes with the discrete format and stands for strict mathematical proof. As shown in the discrete model proposed, the ultrasound echo processes are regarded as the product of interactions between ultrasound pulse spread function (PSF) and tissue of interest. At the mean time, specific model parameters are given qualitatively in the linear model. With such a 2-D discrete model, the recovery of tissue information signals will be made much easier. In order to verify the proposed models, the ultrasound measurements collected by Ultrasonix Sonix RP are applied to generate real tissue images instead of envelop images of ultrasound echo signals.
