Abstract :
In this paper we present the design and implementation of a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) on programmable hardware. Specifically, we investigate the real time implementation of the FLC and the trade-offs involved in implementing different sub-blocks such as fuzzifier, inference and defuzzification on a field programmable gate array (FPGA).
