Abstract
This paper is concerned with multi-sensor feedback system. We first introduce a model for sensors and define a new notion of SN ratio named p-SN ratio, which fits the evaluation for control performance. We then provide analytical expressions of feedback control performances caused by sensor characteristics. Two practical applications of a magnetic bearing system and an inverted pendulum confirm the effectiveness of the results for appropriate choices of sensors considering control performances.
