Abstract
Business Intelligence (BI) is the technology for collecting, collating, reporting and disseminating the timely and accurate intelligence to support decision-making. In policing, that decision-making is about preventing and reducing crime. The Edmonton Police Service uses BI to create a focus for the rapid deployment of resources to fight crime - right now!
