Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a scalable view window with quality enhancement for touchable display. In order to increase the view window resolution, the traditional 6-tap interpolation filter needs large number computational complexity. Therefore, the modified H.264/AVC 6-tap interpolation filter method is proposed which has less hardware than the traditional one. In embedded system, due to the bandwidth of AMBA specification and limitation of memory capacity, how to realize the functions of scalable view window in the embedded platform is an important issue. Moreover, we use a touch panel to enhance the user´s interactivity and implement the functions such as zoom in/out, previous/next page and rotate image.
