Abstract :
Temperature dependence of peak intensity and peak intensity ratio of photoluminescence (PL) from composite thermo-sensor with Cr doped garnet crystal (YAG) is evaluated for fluorescence thermometer. Peak intensity of PL decreases with temperature. Intensity ratio of PL peaks increases linearly with temperature from 300 to 500 K. Composite sensor with Cr doped YAG is potentially useful sensor material in fluorescence thermometer based on temperature dependences of PL intensity ratio.
