Abstract :
On the characteristics of multi-source, heterogenous structure and mass data information of GIS as well as the complexity of the system, this paper proposes the design model based on Web and multi-agent. It also presents a default-tolerance design for the manager-agent. Furthermore, the paper proposes a parallel processing design for the transaction-agent in the model and the corresponding control algorithms
