Abstract :
The Educational Activities Board (EAB) of the IEEE provides a means for effective interaction between academia and industry. It works to promote the development of innovative curricula and programs to address the evolving needs of its members. The EAB works with the various IEEE Sections to encourage the involvement of its members with the student community and to explain the role of the engineer in the community. The EAB has several mechanisms in place to help members prepare for careers and employment in the rapidly changing technical field. This paper highlights the educational activities of the IEEE
