Abstract :
This paper introduces a standardized computer-based instrumentation system suitable for the characterization of DC-DC switching regulators. Using a programmable active load as the core of the system, regulator performances such as stability, audiosusceptibility, output impedance and step load transients are analyzed and key performance indexes are also derived
