Abstract :
This project aims to develop an online learning resource on small group work for undergraduate students. It has been targeted at Medical and Technology students in the first instance who will subsequently be asked to evaluate the resource. Over a period of 3 months students from different classes and a variety of settings were filmed extensively while engaged in group work. This has been transformed into a DVD and an interactive Moodle (University´s Virtual Learning Environment, VLE) course, for students to learn about how to work in small groups, is also being developed and both will be piloted next session. Once feedback has been received on the resource´s usefulness and effectiveness and changes incorporated the resource will be rolled out to the whole university and beyond.
