Abstract :
Motion sensing devices enable users to interact with large virtual workspaces with small screens since relative motion can be an effective navigation technique to access off-screen contents. This paper proposes a cost-effective orientation sensing technology for pan-tilt motion interfaces of a mobile device, utilizing only a tri-axis accelerometer and a dual-axis angular rate sensor.
