Abstract :
This paper presents a method for designing and validating switched power converters using simulation. A forward (two switch) voltage mode control converter is used as an example. This paper describes a step by step approach using the Saber simulator and PowerExpress (power converter design package used with Saber) as tools of choice. The results provide a logical method which the designer can use to incorporate simulation as a design aid
