Abstract :
The present paper introduces an algorithm that simultaneously optimizes the cost and reliability of the network. Telecommunication-related businesses have accomplished remarkable achievements over the past few years. However, previous methods of optical cable network design valued low construction cost. The proposed algorithm is applied to both a minimum cost net problem and a maximum reliability net problem. Moreover, the proposed algorithm is illustrated concretely on a small-scale network.
