Abstract
A motion control module used to track the sunlight in the Space Station Freedom electric power system has been analyzed and simulated. The motion control module includes the three phase brushless motor and the associated power processing block. A novel technique to analyze the motor and the power processing block made the interaction between the motor and the power processing block possible. As a result, the performance of the motion control module can be predicted
