Abstract :
Triage, emergency lifesaving systems to decide transportation priority of patients in accidents or disaster, has been introduced in recent years. Triage Network that the sensor network is applied to the triage is actively researched. In Triage Network, it is necessary to maintain high data arrival rates since living body information is handled. However when the number of patients and amounts of handled data increases, amounts of traffic increase and it becomes easy to decrease data arrival rates by the band pressure. In this paper, we propose data transmission adapting to density of sensor, DTaD. When sensor density is low, all sensor nodes transmit data at short intervals since amounts of traffic is not so huge. When sensor density is high, amounts of traffic is controlled by lengthening data transmission intervals of patients with low transportation priority and high arrival rates of data are maintained. We evaluate our proposal by the computer simulation and show this effectiveness.
