Abstract
In this paper, we presented a transmitarray element design that achieves 360 deg of phase agility in simulation. Requiring only three microstrip layers and no vias through the substrates, the simplicity of the structure makes it practical in terms of cost, space, and ease of fabrication. The transmitarray element is in the process of being experimentally characterized.
