Abstract :
This paper deals with the problem of robust D-stability analysis on pendulum systems, with respect to structured uncertainties. Sufficient conditions, which are computationally simple, and need not calculate the eigenvalues of the system, is proposed to ensure that the inverted pendulum system is D-stable, that is, all its finite poles are located within a specified disk
