Abstract :
Summary form only given. A short pulse TW-class laser, "Tomcat" (5 J, 5 ps) became recently functional at the Nevada Terawatt Facility. It was coupled to the "Zebra" TW pulsed power generator (1 MA, 100 ns), creating a unique tool for high energy density plasma physics research. The status of ongoing experiments and technical aspects of the coupling will be presented
