Abstract
A high-accuracy and low-complexity TOA-based algorithm is proposed to estimate mobile station (MS) location. First, the reliability information is introduced into the measurement data to improve the estimate accuracy of MS location in both line-of-sight and nonline-of-sight environments. Second, by eliminating the more unreliable measurement data, the amount of data to be processed in location estimation is much decreased and the computational complexity is reduced. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm not only achieves high accuracy, but also enjoys low complexity. This combination makes this algorithm more applicable to the real world.
