Security measures for the manufacture & control system

The evolution and spread of the open technology has made it easier to have interactions with other networks and has accelerated the opening of the Manufacture & Control System (M&CS). Although M&CS, which was not the target of the threat before, has come to be under the influence of various threats, has different characteristics from IT system (Information Technology). That is why it is necessary to take the security measures for M&CS, by considering the characteristics specific to it and recognizing the similarities and differences from IT system. In this paper, we will describe the points to be taken into account, in taking the security measures for M&CS.
