  • Abstract
    This paper introduces a music-player application customized to run in a dual core system. New signaling mechanisms have been developed for the two cores to work in tandem and provide a seamless playback of audio files. Novel methods of implementations of player features have been discussed. The application can be easily deployed using a dual-core system as a standalone multimedia player in an automotive environment.
