Abstract

The paper concerns an open electronic infrastructure for the Norwegian transport sector, and presents the results of a project carried out by SINTEF DELAB in cooperation with the Norwegian Telecom, the Norwegian Mapping Authorities, the Federation of Norwegian Transport Users and the consultancy ISI. The objective of the project has been to describe an open IT-infrastructure, to estimate its benefits and to propose a responsible authority for management and maintenance
