Abstract
This paper introduces an application of a traffic flow simulator in alleviating traffic congestion by Nissan Motor. The traffic congestion was induced by driver behavior. With the traffic flow simulator, the traffic signal timing was reviewed to suppress bypass traffic. After the traffic signal timing change, the drivers route choice changed and traffic congestion was alleviated
