Abstract :
The parametric design and intelligent assembly system has been designed and developed of lubrication recycling station. The system contains two human-machine interfaces and one database. The user input the part parameters via the parametric design´s interface, the system automatically generates the three-dimensional model and the three-view chart of the part and stored the data into the database. All parts parameters have been saved in the databases, the intelligent assembly sub-system break out the data will be assembled parts, and assemble these parts according to the relationship between assembly to generate assembly drawing. The lubrication recycling station as an example to be developed to achieve the parameters of the oil tank parametric design and intelligent assembly. Using of the system significantly improved the efficiency of product design and shorten the design cycle, reducing duplication of effort.
