Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to characterize the amount of power absorbed from the body tissues regardless of the antenna type. Furthermore, the efficiency of an implanted source is subject-specific; and it depends from the body size and composition. To the knowledge of the authors, the effect of different human subjects on the efficiency has not been presented in the open literature. In this paper the radiation characteristics of a bladder implanted source has been analyzed adopting two inhomogeneous male phantoms and one female phantom.
