Abstract :
A broad band high efficient mm-wave antenna and various antenna arrays were presented to demonstrate antenna array performance to network throughput impact. The linear shape antenna array preserved better interference mitigation due to its narrower beam width and lower SLL. However, the linear shape antenna array is sensitive to the movement of a device and requires frequent re-training. On the other hand, rectangular or square antenna array has broader beam width and higher SLL. This paper also demonstrated the mm-wave antenna array selection criteria for a dense wireless networking environment.
