Abstract :
We propose highly accurate and high speed dog and cat face detection method for digital cameras that automatically find the pets (dog and cat) in the image. Our method achieves accurate detection performance by constructing an effective detection dictionary based on statistical learning using directional features and acceptable speed performance.
