Abstract :
Fast dynamic response and small ripple of stator flux and torque is the goal to control induction motor (IM) using direct torque control (DTC). However, convectional two-value hysteresis controller in DTC result in large torque and flux ripples. In this paper, a controller based on fuzzy logic is designed to improve the performance of DTC. The validity of the proposed methods is confirmed by the simulation results.
