Abstract
The cross-well electromagnetic method is a low frequency electromagnetic measurement that has many applications in the reservoir characterization and monitoring. In the cross-well survey, the domain of investigation is usually several tens of meters. The transmitters and receivers are located in different wells. The resolution of the cross-well electromagnetic measurement is a function of the operating frequency, the well distance and the complexity of the geology (the conductivity distribution of the subsurface).
