Abstract :
Technical advances and regulatory decisions will make possible substantially increased capacity for vehicular and fully portable communication units. The speaker will review the principal conclusions of a recently completed assessment of the implications of these developments, emphasizing economic, regulatory, organizational and social issues, (See R.
