Abstract :
Inverse simulation is becoming more and more popular and widely used technique in flight mechanics studies. The ability to calculate control and response time histories for a predefined trajectory or maneuver is very useful in certain applications (i.e. autonomous vehicles). However, where it comes to numerical algorithms there has always been a major concern about numerical problems, usually encountered when solving the equations of motion in the inverse manner. In this paper some problems are presented as well as the simple inverse simulation algorithm applied to a sample system
